Expect it to be quiet here for awhile (not that I ever gabbed too much on this blog!) For privacy sake, I can't talk too much about the process. Here are some ways to pray for us:
1) Fundraising. This is costing much more than we anticipated. We are out of designated adoption funds until we raise more... We need all the help and prayers we can get.
2) Peace with all the decisions we have made thus far. It is hard. Choosing an agency. Choosing a country. Accepting a referral. All these are cemented at this time, and there is no going back. Pray that God brought all these things into our hearts and minds for a reason, and that we can feel peace with all our worries and fears and frustrations.
3) Our proposed children. That they will be healthy and forming important bonds with foster mother that will directly impact how they bond with us.
4) Our family. Please pray that they will be supportive and open to all the new worlds that international adoption opens up. Pray for patience in Scott and I as we deal with people who are not sharing joy with us in our family building decision.
5) We ask God prepare our hearts for all that will be taking place, and that we keep an open line of communication. I tend to hold things in until I burst, so I need help in talking things through before becoming an emotional bombshell:)
Of course that is not all, but it is a place to start!
