What do you need?

A big part of the reason we chose Congo to adopt from:

Go ahead, click it and cry. I can't get out of my head the phrase I mentioned months ago- "Do for one what you wish you could do for all". In our case it is two, not one, and it seems like such a tiny number for a country so large containing millions, but for those two children it will not seem like a tiny thing... They may have difficulties at times, we all will, we all do, but I pray that they learn about their country and appreciate what they hopefully will never have to face here in our home, in America.

This time of year I am sickened by holiday shopping. "What do your kids need this year for Christmas?" I get asked by family members. NOTHING!!! Have you seen my kids ever needing anything in their lives?! I pray that my kids will never NEED anything, that we will always be able to provide for their needs and be able to add in things they want on top of it. What do the orphans need would be a better question, and a better use of resources! Avery prays for the babies daily, by the names we have chosen (which could change subject to what they are currently being called which we do not know yet). She prays that they will not be sick. She prays that they have clean water and enough food and something to wear. These are needs. And beyond those physical needs, they need love, and a family. And I can not wait to be there to supply them will all their needs!

You can help! Instead of trying to cram a few more presents under the tree, you can donate to our cause. Every $10 or $20 gets us that much closer, and you will feel good knowing that these angels will be saved from such a savage future... We appreciate all your support!
