I have a wonderful fundraising idea... We have an account set up at AdoptTogether where your donation is TAX DEDUCTIBLE!! We have raised/saved/already paid a lot of money, and my goal is $10,000, which sadly does not even cover the plane tickets home:( Very sad that that sum of money doesn't cover a leap across the ocean, but it is true, and we could use some help with the cost of those tickets!
For each $10 you donate your name will be tossed in a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. Every thousand dollars we raise will pull another winner. So if we raise $10,000, 10 of our wonderful donators will receive a $50 gift card:)
So if you are doing the math, If you donate $30 you will get 3 names in the drawing. We must meet $500 to pull the first name... So share the news to your family, your friends, your FB wall, and if everyone can just donate $20 or $30 we will be there in no time. Winners will be announced via FB or email, and I hope to make a lot of you winners! Link them to our blog and let them see the precious faces of the children they will be helping.
