Why do I look?

I was directed to a link today for "Second Chance Waiting Children". These are children who were adopted (either domestic or internationally), and for some reason the adoptive parents are unable to parent/keep the child. Generally it is because the child came with issues that the parent was unable to deal with despite therapy and all manner of help and letting them go is the only solution. I generally just read and pray for the children to find a family who can help them. Today I read and was pulled to a child. An older boy. Pulled so much that I actually contacted them about him, and can't get him out of my head! I thoroughly believe that God is just pulling and stretching me and that this child is not going to be our son, but I am open to it! I will rejoice when they message me back and tell me he has been placed with a loving family, but I currently have all sorts of crazy thoughts floating around in my head. I need to stop looking at waiting children!!
