Today it starts

We are going to foster care training this evening. I am nervous, and have no reason to be as this is just an informational meeting, not a personal one on one type of meeting. No one will know or care that we are there! I think my nerves are with the fact that it is the first step in a big plan, one of which is so unclear and frankly terrifying! But so was adoption, and we handled that (with a LOT of help from God!) So we go tonight to learn more, and I just pray that Scott and I can be of like mind and step up emotionally to all of this, joined together to help out a precious child who just needs someone to love and protect them.
