First let me say Happy half birthday! Baby G celebrated this milestone with a cupcake and a crown. Being that she just started eating food with a spoon a few weeks ago, she had absolutely no idea what to do with a cupcake ( no frosting), and didn't recognize it as good. But she enjoyed a new texture with her fingers and made a big crumbly happy mess!
She still does not sit unsupported, but she rolls all over, gabs a lot with good sounds, squeals her approval, and scoots herself forward to get things she wants close by. She sleeps about 10 hours straight, gets a bottle and generally sleeps 2-4 more if the schedule allows. Lively, lovely little one.
We had a visit with the social worker yesterday and at this point family seems to be stepping up to gain guardianship with a timeline of this summer. So for now we love her and cherish her!
Today when the kids were walking out of the house mikaiah doubled back and kissed her and said "I love you baby" before dashing out the door, and Everett chimed in "I'll never forget you". It is not just. Scott and I who adore this bundle!
