Happiest Baby on the Block

There is a book out there with this title, and it must have been written about baby G as she is certainly the happiest thing out there! She had an amazing day after sleeping 11 straight hours, playing in the snow, a 2.5 hour nap, lots of rolling around and snuggles and cooing and drooling, another nap and repeat the rolling, bouncing, chatting before heading off for sweet dreams right on schedule.

She is not an eerily happy baby, as she does cry. She lets you know if she is uncomfortable, or hungry, or tired, but she is so predictable so if you know her and anticipate her needing these things, then the tears are few and far between! It took a good one day to start laying her down to nap awake and let her fuss it out, and she goes down like an angel, fusses for a minute and then goes to sleep. Same for middle of the night- she has been sleeping for 11-12 hours at night the last week! Amazing little one we have living under our roof right now.
