I was told that this week there was a visit planned, so off we went to go see Dad. He didn't show up, but sent his brother, so a nice visit was had with Uncle. It was genuine love shown toward her and very polite and kind with me. Next week there are two scheduled visits, and curious as to whom will show up! I don't know if all case workers handle things in the same manner, but I was told that if parent does not show and shows a pattern of not showing, then offer will be extended to other family members so visitation is still being offered.
We finished our first week of daycare and Scott and I are favorably impressed. Everyone is very loving and caring and on top of things, and it has a warm feeling. They love baby G and she greets with me with a big smile every day. I am also happy that they keep a good bib on her so she isn't covered in spit up! But sadly, she is exposed to lots of germs there and on day 5 has come home with snot and a little fever. It is three days shy of a month in our kid infested home, but I blame daycare and baby germs! It is to be expected, but praying it doesn't develop into more than a sniffle...
