Already I am confused, and getting discouraged. We at first were looking into fostering to adopt, as we felt it was the only affordable option. Then I saw some random quote online of an affordable fee for domestic adoption, and it got me extremely excited!
Last night we went to Bethany Christian Services banquet. All sounded very encouraging, and the folks I spoke with were uplifting and buoyed me. Of course I didn't discuss fees with them... So today I come to research more online, and found the prices to be way out of what I can imagine us to afford.... I am still praying that this is just the beginning of our journey, but I could be wrong in that this is the path God wants us to take?
