So we are all set, country officially changed to Congo and plans going forward to adopt two babies! Our first home study in our house is set for Tuesday, with individual interviews on Friday. Wow, it is moving right along! And here I was nervous over the thought of getting fingerprinted and physicals and chest X-rays... Having a social worker come into your home and deem you qualified to be given more children is quite nerve racking! Most especially being that we will have our own children there and who knows how they will act?!
Prayers for them all to put on angel wings that day, and for Scott and I to be our loving/lovable selves and not fake and acting funny...
I know that the SW is not there to find fault with us, our kids, our home, and her goal is just to make us ready to accept more children into our home. This particular lady comes highly recommended by 2 friends who have used her in the past, so I am a bit less nervous about it knowing she is a tried and true!
Remember a few months back how I said that I was not an anxious kind of person? There has been a lot more anxious moments in the past month and lots more crying out to God. But so far no tears... Those I am sure will come later. For now we are just excited anxious!
