Baby's first Christmas

Baby G had a very nice first Christmas. Since we just got her everything a baby could want or need, her gifts were quite few, and those she had she can't open anyway, but she has been enjoying her new Sophie the giraffe and pacifier that Bennett gave her! She loved the lights and candles, and she was amazing on the long car ride to Ohio! Napping us not her strong suit, but she blessed us with a 4 hour car nap to start the 5.5 hour ride, and was happy the time she was awake. She got lots and lots of love and snuggles from family members in Ohio, and she slept well while we were in a hotel and made Christmas special for all of us. When one of the other kids is upset about something or hurt, I now say "know what always  makes me feel better? Baby snuggles!" And once I  press a cute  cuddly baby into them the sadness really does disappear. She is magical that way!
